Testimony: Kingdom-Minded Families in Missions

As we prepared to launch last year, many people questioned our decision to go with young children. And - although we initially wondered how they would acclimate, we needn’t have worried because God prepared each one of them specifically for this chapter in their lives.

Owen, with his lighthearted attitude and open heart, has become everyone’s friend. His laughter echoes through our days, breaking barriers and reminding us all of the simple joys of life.

Elise, with her sweet and sassy temperament, has become everyone’s little sister—embracing these boys with unconditional love, crawling into their laps when words aren’t enough, and simply being family.
These two sweet children have helped us integrate into the lives of the boys in ways we never imagined. They’ve torn down walls, softened hearts, and joined us in welcoming these boys into our family.
This journey has been a powerful lesson for our children—teaching them to serve others, to love the vulnerable without seeing difference, and to embrace a life of simplicity. In a world that often measures success in material things, they are learning that true fulfillment is found in compassion, generosity, and community - loving like Jesus. They are witnessing firsthand that joy is not in having more, but in giving more.

So… For those who may wonder whether children belong in missions, I can only say this: God is using them to touch the lives of others just as much (if not more) as He is using Morgan and I.
Take them along and watch what the Lord will do.
