We eagerly anticipate our first visit to the US since launching to Zambia...
It’s hard to believe that it’s been over a year since our family first stepped onto Zambian soil to begin this chapter of ministry at Nsansa Village. What began as a leap of faith in 2024 has grown into a rhythm of service, community, and deep-rooted purpose. And now, for the first time since launching, we’re preparing for a home visit to the States.

This trip carries so many layers - gratitude, anticipation, and a touch of bittersweet. We’re looking forward to reconnecting with family, friends, and partners who have prayed, supported, and cheered us on from afar. We’re also praying for meaningful conversations, divine appointments, and the kind of heart-refreshing moments that time with family can offer.
As we prepare to travel, we want to invite you into prayer with us:
Provision and Stability at Nsansa Village: While we’re away, Nsansa will continue to thrive under the care of our incredible local leaders. We are so proud of the team that has risen up - faithful, capable, and deeply committed to the children and the mission. Please pray for continued provision, wisdom, and stability in every area of the work. We trust that God will sustain and multiply what’s been planted.
Protection and Peace as We Travel: International travel (especially with children) always comes with its own set of logistics and unknowns. We’re asking for covering over every flight, every transition, and every moment in between. May peace go before us and behind us, and may our hearts remain anchored in the One who called us to this journey.
Meaningful Connections in the States: This visit isn’t just about rest, it’s about reconnection. We’re praying for rich conversations, renewed partnerships, and opportunities to share what God is doing at Nsansa. May our time be fruitful, encouraging, and full of grace.
Thank you for walking with us. Your prayers, encouragement, and support mean more than words can say. We’ll be sharing updates as we go, and we look forward to returning to Zambia with full hearts and fresh strength.
We look forward to seeing many of you soon!
With love, dear friends,
Laura
